Woodkid the musical project of French filmmaker Yoann Lemoine. Having directed music videos for the likes of Moby, Taylor Swift, The Shoes, and Katy Perry, Lemoine decided to try his hand at music after a chance encounter with a personal idol, Richie Havens. For the Woodkid project, Lemoine took on the roles of songwriter, singer and filmmaker for the release of his debut Woodkid EP and the accompanying video for the song "Iron" (seen below).
