Song Of The Day: Bonobo - Cirrus

British producer and composer Bonobo (aka Simon Green) has just announced an April 1st release date for his next album The North Borders with the release of its first single "Cirrus," a music video, and the announcement of a Bonobo Live Tour spanning the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe.  The North Borders will be Bonobo's sixth full length album, and the first since 2012's Black Sands Remixed, a remix album of 2010's well received Black Sands featuring remixes by FaltyDL, Machinedrum, Banks, and Four Tet among numerous others. Green will be beginning the live tour of his immensely successful Bonobo Live project on April 10th at the Black Cat in Washington DC, then moving onto Philadelphia, New York, and Boston as he makes his way across North America and across the pond to England and Europe where he plans to finish in late-June, just in time for Summer Festival Season.

Today's song of the day is a remix of Bonobo's "Silver" by German remixer/producer Krizz Luco.  This eclectic DJ has made a name for himself in the tech-house and deep house scene, having released numerous original tracks and various well-received remixes of tracks by SBTRKT, Feist, Little Dragon and James Blake.

Oktoberfest may have to an end, but the real party is just around the corner. Even after such an impressive October lineup of shows, NYC is really getting ready to throw down between now and the biggest party of all, New Years Eve 2012!
