What can I say about Canadian Producer/Composer/Musician Daniel Victor Snaith (aka Manitoba, aka Caribou) other than that his music is entrancing. Having earned his PhD in Mathematics at the Imperial College in London, England, Snaith creates music that is simultaneously artistic and scientific. Music, like math, with it's structure, theory, and composition is truly a universal language, and while you may never hear Caribou on the radio, or in a club, I think it certainly speaks to us all. The song "Jamelia" is the final track off the 2010 release Swim, and lately I haven't been able to stop listening to it. Enjoy.
